Post Danmark Rundt - Queen stage today 14:00
For the first time Post Danmark Rundt is aired live in a proper way with motorbikes, helicopters and s'hit...
First few stages has been really really good stuff. Today is the queen stage in what is always like an Amstel-esque stage. Usually pretty good.
Nothing better to do? Livestream starts at 15:00 (14:00 UK). Should pop up here: http://www.procyclinglive.com/livestream/

Summer has returned here. Should be 20-25 degrees well in in August!0

Should be a day for good stages.0

Oh my....quite some bike fling on that crash.Contador is the Greatest0

Awful crash. Right on the cobbles0

Horrid
Cmon Sebas Henao! Cmon Lars Bak!0 -
Huge crowds on that hill, tons of people must have taken the day off unless they also have the whole of the summer off like Sweden.
Nice they have a few laps to spectate on.Contador is the Greatest0 -

A mix. Many have days off in August as well. But it's also 16:30 here so plentt people are home from work.0 -
Half the riders in those that went clear are happy to not force the pace and sit on, after killing themselves to make the selection. Never seen so many riders look round. Cult did well to get three there.Contador is the Greatest0

Would be nice if a Cult rider got the win today.Contador is the Greatest0

Unfortunately not the case. Breschel takes it.
Nice stage, lots of action for 50ks.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Surprised there's anyone left in Denmark based on the number of cars with Danish plates I saw driving around Italy and Austria last week.
So wearing watches when riding/racing? I don't see any/many people I ride with wearing a watch, I never have, found it more comfortable without. Can't say I've noticed a pro wearing one until yesterday when I noticed Rasmus Guldhammer wearing one, any others?0 -

One of the great Gruber pictures of Adam Hansen (at the Giro?) showed he was wearing either a training watch/satnav or something similar. It's the picture with the wig - cannot find it at present but remember being surprised to see the watch-thingie0 -
In tne late 90's/early 00's a fair few pro's wore watches (usually Nike/Oakley/Adidas) as they were sponsored ... Once power meters became the norm there was something else to promote.
I still have a Nike 'Lance' watch that works with altimeter (that is actually reasonably accurate), temperature and compass (both aren't that accurate) ... Can't remember last time I wore it though.Life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it.0 -

valverde was wearing one at the tour. at least toward the end anyway EDIT yellow one on his left wrist"Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0 -
Never noticed Valverde wearing one before. Just done an image search and he seems to be wearing a watch in nearly every photo. One is a big Nike watch and you can even see what time the photo was taken!
I know it's far from important but I'm going to be looking out for it whenever I watch a race now! I'd genuinely not noticed someone wearing a watch while racing.

He has been rocking the huge colourful watches for a long time.

Breschel takes another win ahead of EBH and Cort.
Why is Cort riding for Cult and not his employer Orica?Contador is the Greatest0 -
So Lars Bak, ThomThom.
Can he hold off Juul-Jensen in the TT?Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

Hopefully! I think Christopher overachieved a bit when he won DM. Lars is no bad time trialist himself. Christoper is such a cool lad so if someone should take the Jersey from Lars I have no problem with it being Christopher.
Also, cheers FF for bringing the thread back to topic.0 -
