Specialized turbo tyres 24c

Anyone put many miles on these tyres? I picked up a pair last week but have been using winter bike since then got a 115 mile sportive on Sunday but don't fancy stopping every 5 mins for punctures especially if the weather is bad

I've got the 26 version - very grippy, very smooth ride, very fast!

I'm using the S-Works version (24c) on both bikes. Fantastic feel, excellent grip and a lot more robust than reviews suggest. Had a pair fitted for the 500 mile TransAlp ride back in July and they performed very well indeed. Only one or two minor cuts (circa 1mm) and still in great condition.

Unfortunately irrelevant now. Had quick ride on bike to make sure everything OK. Turns out rear brake cable on propel rubs on tyre when braking heavily. Guess it's back to 23 for me

I'm running 25's on my Propel no problem. Have you put non-standard brake noodles on?

No brake set up is standard. Wheels are fulcrums but everything was fine with giant tyres, they were worn so went with specialized. Disappointed.

I have the wide Enve 4.5's with 25 tyres and have no issue. Where is the rub? On the wire at the top I presume.

Yes just over 1mm when brakes not applied then touch when applied. Around 115psi in tyres
