105 Groupset buying options

I'm looking at getting a 5800 105 groupset and was wondering if anyone sold the groupset with a band on front mech?

There seem to be plenty of chainset and cassette options, but it's annoying if I have to buy a separate front mech. Esp, as a lot of frames don't have the braze on bracket.

Any ideas?

Try CRC - they allow you to build the groupset part by part

Not sure what their final pricing is like but they're usually pretty competitive.

Other option is to buy a bundle if you see one cheap then just get the band on mech from CRC and sell on the braze on one from the bundle

Just buy one of the clamps to adapt the front derailleur. Job done, plus you retain the flexibility to switch the groupset over to another frame in due course if you need to that may have a different tube diameter.

Choose a braze-on FD and buy an adapter like the one above. It will give you more options If you ever upgrade your frame in the future.

I may do this, I don't think they look as good though. I prefer as minimalist as possible. The M-part one doesn't look too bad though.

Thanks, I had looked on CRC, but hadn't realised that you could pick every item. I thought it was just colour and crank length!

Although... Having just gone through it all, the price is more than elsewhere. Oh well. Thanks for the help guys
