Today will include a trip over to sunny Bradford and possibly a two wheeled jaunt later this evening.Advocate of disc brakes.0

I was in Bradford last week.....what a shite hole
Reached the hump of the week again and the downward spiral to the weekend is even more sweet because after Friday I'm off work for two weeks"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

You mean they are paying you to be not in the office rather than be in the office? Isn't it immaterial where you will be? I am sure it will be seamless.
Meh. Drizzle. Meh. Forecast says we might have some summer next week, lying b4stards.
Rather oddly, I watched a Beeb 4 program last night all about weights and measurements and how the metre came about. Anyone see it?

It most probably came about after a rather sensible English chap revieved an American technical drawing which was dimensioned with fractions.Advocate of disc brakes.0

Nope. It was the French in the late 1700's during la revolution, the b4stards. They calculated the gap (using trigonometry and a Clinometer) between Dieppe and Barcelona in increments of roughly 10km as it was the exact distance between 2 latitudes. Than multiplied it out. The final calculation was the distance between the two poles. A metre is one ten millionth the distance between the poles.
As no one internationally could agree on a set number of measurements and Britain couldn't even agree from one area to the next, no one could argue with a measurement based on a constant, that constant being the Earth.
So herendeth the lesson.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

By the looks of it if activity 3 isn't up to the ladies expectations she uses your manhood as ingredients for activity 4

I have often made 'gut decisions' and they have tended to be right. Although it may be somehow ethereal or intangible, I think the collective subconscious knowledge is in play. As we are not overtly conscious of that intuitive thought, we put it down to a happening that is seemingly mysterious.
Is it that as we are no longer in touch with the 'Sixth sense' as are animals, a fleeting moment when we are in touch with it, we call it 'intuition'?
You're not thinking of another bike are you T47?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

You are more practised in surviving beer. Did you find a 'nice' boy whilst you were there?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Ok with the beer, it was the cocktails and shots that mucked things up0 -
