Just a 'shout' :? :) to all those who keep it going on the fringes - sort of Roubaix Metropole level who get the occasional bigger win and stagiares with world tour teams who disappeared to continentals and kept going - there are hundreds

    Funnily enough, I had more or less the same sentiment as encapsulated by the OP when I saw the result from yesterday pop up. Kind of a "wasn't he a stagiare somewhere last season? No, too old. What are his past teams? Oooooh, *him*. Good for you, son" moment.

    I don't need to Google to know he won a stage of Etoile de Besseges in 2009. It's just one of those names I remember.

    The Latvian guy, Behlosoviks (sp) was another. Maybe there's something in a name?
