Currently have a Rose X Lite for the road, but thinking I need to keep the wheels turning during the winter period and now the better half seems to have commandeer'd my Giant hybrid, I thought it seemed like a good excuse to shop for something else!
Having a look round, this seemed like a good buy, especially with the 105 11 speed gearset.

With discount it comes in at £616.00 delivered... not bad for a winter bike as we have some nice gravel trails round this way too!
Anyone got any experience of these bikes at all?
Cheers
Rob

That was my initial thoughts...anybody tried one of the Eastway brand of bikes at all?0 -
Even though I couldn't find much info on the net, I ordered one for winter riding...very pleased with it for the money. Smart looking bit of kit, nice gearset, brakes don't get good reviews, but upgrade not too dear...
Pretty much just what I was looking for...now to get out and give it a whirl!0 -
Thats a hell of a lot of bike for the money! 105 is a huge upgrade on the equipment usually found on bikes in this price range. If I didn't already have a winter bike I'd be very interested in one of these....0

Stick some of these on it.

You should be able to sell your BB7's for £50. Meaning not a huge cost to change. Much much better brakes. Easier to set up as well.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
