Today has been OK so far, didn't have much motivation to get out and ride this morning but did it all the same and feel better for it. A fraction under 50km, got blown all over the place though as it's pretty windy out there.
Been out to do a survey then shifted some work across to a minion, got to take the boy trainer shopping tonight, Thai green curry for dinner and then turn in for an early night.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
Imperial is pretty standard in the UK HD, 31 miles.
Been mowstly getting the minions spreading gravel and tidying up the yard a bit.
Funny thing happened. I stopped to reverse into a gap and this bloke in a black jeep drives in to the space using 3 yards (about a metre HD) of the pavement to slot it in. I go down the road 50 yds (divide it by 3 HD) in a somewhat perplexed do I or don't I have a go at him mood to find another space. As I am getting out of the car, I hear a loud bang as jeep driver twunt in his effort to park the thing drives into the back of the car in front. Jeep drives gets out quickly and legs it. I go to take some details of number plates etc and just as I am walking away, owner of bronze coloured Qashqai steps into his car. I said "Have you seen the back of your car?" He steps out, has a look and his chin hits the floor.

No cba going on over here. Had a long hard day at Universal Studios today. Tomorrow we leave LA and head for San Diego, stopping to see a good friend from school on the way. Unfortunately San Diego is our last stop before heading home. Not looking forward to reality.
