I have my new bike turning up next week and though I would treat it to a set of new pedals. I currently ride with the Shimano spd sl which will be sold with my old bike.
I'm happy to spend around £50 but the a question is do I now stay with the same pedals or move on?
What are the best options/brands within my budget?
Thanks
Mike

If you like SPD SL pedals and like them then why change? I tried Keo's but preferred shimano and so went back to them. If your looking for new pedals then I recommend the R550's, theyre identical in shape/size to the higher end Dura Ace, Ultegra and 105 pedals with a small additional weight difference.0

SPD-SL's are the most reliable. Well maybe not the cleats but the bearings are bomb proof.0

I'm on my third pair this year of cleats now but at £10 cant really complain.
I think I will stick with SPD-SL pedals then, might treat myself to a carbon set.0 -

Change of heart after testing another system last night. Now have a pair of Time Xpresso 6 Pedals. They are really nice to get in and out of and look great0
