Hongfu FM069 Custom Build

After a brief fling with my titanium winter build, which was realisticly too big for me, i bought this frame unpainted from a guy at my cycling club and have spent the past couple of months building it up. I've put about 120 miles into it and it's unreal how comfy it is.
I had it resprayed by a company down in Dorset and i'm amazed at the finish and quality of it. Specs are as follows
Frame - Hongfu FM069
Forks - Enve 2.0 (resprayed to match the frame)
Rear Mech - Dura ace 9000
Front mech - Ultegra 6800
Shifters - Ultegra 6800
Chainset - Ultegra 6800 with Stages Power meter (not shown here as i've only just got it)
Brakes - Planet-x CNC
Wheels - Planet-x 50mm Tubs
Pedals - Speedplay Zero Titanium
Bars - Deda RHM01
Stem - Deda (although the sprayers made the mistake of putting the Enve Decals on it)
Saddle - Fizik Kurve
I will upload better/more pictures when i get a chance i promise

Love it0

That looks great. Been tempted to get a Hongfu or similar frame for ages to use as a joint winter/crit bike, this may have just swayed my decision.0

Lovely looking bike, awesome colourway.0

Thanks for the comments. I'm really pleased with it so far and i think it'll do well through the winter. As for the colour i just wanted something unique and that (hopefully) won't date too quickly, which i think i've achievedScott Foil - viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=129827790

Too nice for the winter - what about mudguards?0

Nice bike, but not a winter bike0

Very, very nice. One of the nicest I've seen on here - love the Speedvagen-esque colourway.

It's not a winter bike. No guards, no disks, carbon rim wheels.... no chance!0

Looks fantastic, and probably an absolute bargain. I'm looking for a crit frame and for the cost of the frame and a decent paint job at a good cost i can see why you went this way.
who really gives a damn about crudcatchers etc...0 -

I find that higher end components fair better than lower due to the fact that the fasteners are either Ti or stainless and the finish / coatings are far superior. My old commuter ended up with mechanical Dura Ace 7800 and it worked perfectly and cleaned up like new. In contrast, I had a Tiagra RD crumble into dust after one year.
Carbon rims in the winter though. I agree. Brave.0 -
The carbon rims aren't for the winter. i've got a set of swiss side franc's for that job but they were in the bike shop getting trued at the time so i slung these on. As for 'needing' discs and crudcatchers i've managed for the past 5 years through the winters with standard rim brakes and no guards so i think i'll do fineScott Foil - viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=129827790
