Hi,
I hope someone can help. my wife is looking to buy a new carbn frame through the C2W schemen which means a maximum of £1,000.
I'm strugling to find options for her. She has looked at Ribble and Planet X but didn't see anything she liked.
does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks,
EB

Why carbon? I not trolling but carbon is so over rated and below £1000 its likely to be not as good as a decent aluminium frame. Won't be any real weight saving.Brian B.0 -

It's cycle to work so pretty much any bike shop will do.
She just wants a frame, currently riding a specialized Allez
with almost brand new 105 kit. Looking to transfer this
to a much nicer frame.
I accept the challenge about carbon but 'what a girl wants' ;-)
Will look at Dolan.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,

Well what does she want? Is it a colour or just general aesthetics?English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

To be honest, she doesn't know what she wants.
I just want to give her options.
She likes the Trek women's frames but I can't a
shop that stocks the frame sets just complete bikes.0 -
Some nice frames... Cannondale Super Six EVO, Canyon ultimate CF, Genesis Zero. None of them are women's specific though if that's what she's looking for.0
-
I'm liking the Genesis zero, website says its just over the £1,000 budget but
could hopefully get it down.
Don't think Canyon do cycle 2 work.
Any ideas who stocks Cannondale frames?

Ah yes, you're right about the Canyons.
I've got the Genesis. Fantastic frame. Can be had for under a grand if you shop around or haggle a bit.
Plenty of places sell Cannondale. Try a Google search. You could have a look at Paul's Cycles for starters, they often have good discounts on slightly older models.0 -
TBH before you go any further with this she really needs to decide if she wants a women's specific frame and also if she's after a sportive/endurance bike or a race bike. Without that you're just asking for random frame suggestions that may be totally unsuitable.0

I know you said just the frame, but you could get a whole carbon bike for your wife, this is what I ordered for mine, arrives today
