Went on a bit of a splurge on monday night, internet activity after 10pm is always an expensive occasion.
Anyway ended up ordering a set of hope tech enduros, fox launch pro kneepads, osprey bladder, seatclamp, rsp dropper, enduro humvee shorts and finally some gloves. Tonnight ill hopefully be getting the hopes up and running tubeless but im still.bloody waiting on crc to deliver most of the other stuff which should be today, or should i say it better be today!
Was interested to see what everyone else was spending their hard earned money on???

2.5 turbo petrol engine. 220bhp as standard but it's the same motor as the Focus RS so a remap and remove the DPF (Hollowed out to pass MOT'S) and a couple minor tweeks. It will torque steer like a bitch with 310bhp through the front wheels so it will feel like a proper hot Ford! Externally it looks completely original and doesn't even have a noisy exhaust.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

How can it have a dpf if it's a petrol engine??0 -
Sounds a fair machine, wolf in sheeps clothing with it looking standard. Sure you suprise a few folk. Maybe hes meant the CAT.0

Sorry, cat not DPF. Been driving diesels for the last decade so getting confused. It's going to get filled with diesel at some point I'm sureTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
hollowing out the cat will make it louder and maybe give vibration where the cat is located0

I have a 2.5T Mondeo on the short list for my next car.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Id love a new type r they look amazing, really agressive styling. I like the sublte look but the new rs just looks a bit plain jane in my personal opinion. Mind you is have to find the 30 grand first which seems a long way off.0

I have just, this second purchased a Radon slide 9. Another after 10 purchase and 3 empty budweisers in front of me!It matters not, win or lose, it's how you ride the bike0

Haha tell me about it, trying to talk myself out of ordering a mega tr frame from crc at this very moment.0
-
A radon ZR race, a garmin edge 810 and a Mitsubishi Outlander hybrid to transport the bike. Next up a divorce0

Bought myself a 54 plate Renault Kangoo the other week. Nothing mega special, but it makes so much more sense than the Passat estate it replaced. I have no kids and rarely have other passengers. It's not as refined or as nice to be in/drive, but it's so much more practical, and given the frequency with which I have bikes in there, it makes total sense. should've bought a van sooner!
Also it's the 1.5 DCI 80+ turbo engine, so it's faster than you'd expect, it's super tidy inside and out, miles aren't too high and it only cost me £600. Bargain.
I also have a Saracen Ariel 151 turning up in the next couple of days.0 -
I treated myself to a 10 speed upgrade....which has now resulted in a new frame and forks0

Just Treat myself to a pair of Shimano XT M785 Disc Brake Lever and PM Caliper Black, compared to the avid 1's, it's night and day difference.
Anyone know if you an get Black reservoir covers??

According to the Shimano tech doc for the M785, the M666 cover will fit M785, go to the M666 doc and it says the top cover is compatible with M785 and M596, so logically, yes, an M596 Deore cover should fit an M785.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
