A platic friggin bag!

So just going along minding my own business on my bike. Plastic bag dropped buy a litter lout blows into the road and under my bike.

Rear deraileur gets trapped,
Rear mech hanger snaps - £19 + hassle of fixing
Rear mech after being ripped off slams into wheel and breaks a spoke and send wheel out of true £26
Rear mech hits rear chain stay - carbon fiber holed! - Cost either about £200 or £1,800 for new frame if it cant be fixed.

All this cos of a plastic bag - be careful out there

Be thankfull it wasn't a full bag left by a dog walker, no amount of money can remove the taste from your mouth.

I am debating which is worse - it's an awful lot of money to loose.

Not as much of that now in Bonny Jockland now we need to pay 5p for a plastic bag.

And Wales too. In work, distribution warehouse for a supermarket, we keep two types of supermarket carrier bag, English and Welsh. The only difference between the two is the Welsh bags have a barcode on them so they can be scanned at the till.

Yeah I was at our apartment in Ayr recently and noticed this whilst in asda!! It's a Liberty (literally)
