Guys,

I would like to ask for your opinion on the following. I have been looking to buy 2015 CAAD10 105 for about $1,600 but cam across brand new 2013 Ridley Excalibur for around $1,900. It has the following specs (got this info from the retailer):

- Ridley Excalibur carbon frame and fork
- Shimano Ultegra 6700 Shifters and derailleurs
- FSA Energy Crankset
- 4ZA bar, stem and seat post
- Prologo saddle
- Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels

What is your take on this? Would be happy to hear your thoughts! (Sorry if I posted in the wrong forum, I am new here.)

Thanks,
George

P.S. CAAD10 has 105 6800 shifters and derailleurs

Caad10 has been and arguably still is the mass market benchmark for alu frames. If it comes with 105 5800 then that is supposedly as good as Ultegra 6700. The Cannondale will have much more resale appeal once you decide you need a carbon frame. Loads of people still covet it as a second bike or crit racer. I am sure the Ridley will be great also but unless you prefer its looks then there is no reason to look beyond the Caad
