1st ever road bike.

Well after years of mountain biking and more recently building up a commuter for the roads I decided to get myself a 'proper' road bike. Nothing too fancy as I'm still a mountain biker at heart so didn't want to be spending too much first time round

Ribble 7005 Sportive with full 105 5800 and Mavic Aksium wheels. Looking forward to getting some miles under it.

There's certainly no doubting you're still a mountain biker at heart, just look at the gear your first road bike is in!

If long head tubes are your thing, you have to get a Specialized Roubaix. Mine has 245 glorious millimetres of head tube.

The Roubaix is indeed a fine bike. Its a few years down the road, I have run out of excuses for justifying new bikes to the wife
