What extras should be thrown in with the deal?

Hi Guys,
I'm buying a new Giant Defy 1 from the Giant store in person in the next few days. I have it ordered at the list price.
It's quite a lot of money to put down for a bike so I'd hope for some freebies to be thrown in.
I'm just wondering what should I ask to be thrown in to the deal without being unreasonable? For all these items I would be thinking the run of the mill basic option.
So pedals, I'm sure they'll not charge for them but what of the following; helmet, mudgaurds, drink holder, lock. pannier, spare tubes, repair kit...
Some people are great at getting good deals I wouldn't say I am I just want to feel I'm not paying for something that someone else might get thrown in the deal.

Why wouldn't they charge for them? They can be quite expensive depending on which ones you get.
In any case if you've already paid, the deal is over. Why would they give you anything?0 -
You might have missed the boat if you've agreed a price and ordered the bike already. You might be able to get bottle cages and a cheap helmet but LBSs probably rely on selling the extras to make some additional profit from the sale of the bike so you might be hard pushed to get much thrown in but good luck.0

If you need new pedals and those other accessories just ask them what is the best price they can give you on them, otherwise buy them online.0

Buying a Giant from a Giant store and having already agreed to pay list price, I think you may have missed the opportunity to haggle.
When I asked my LBS said they couldn't knock anything off the price of a new Orbea but they could throw in some extra goodies as a discount.
Trouble was, Epic Cycles were offering the same bike substantially cheaper, so I went there. And ended up buying a completely different bike custom built for more money
Mind you, they steered me towards a more appropriate bike for my needs, and I'm still riding it 8 years on.0 -
Would you expect free driving gloves, umbrella, waterproof jacket if you buy a car?0

I got a spare wheel and a boot liner thrown in with mine.0 -

Good work. my car didn't come with a spare at all0 -
After ordering I wouldn't expect anything.
I'd generally try and get about 10% the value of the bike in free stuff if the bike is at RRP.
If the bikes discounted then I don't haggle at all. Ill pay the asking price.0 -
Ask nicely and you may get a discount on some essentials. Doubt you will get much in the way of freebies.0
