Id second Hagleitner, theres a cool British guy Rich working there who is super helpful.
I always stay in this BnB, 30 euros a night, they have some appartments as well if theres a group of you. Great value and wonderful, friendly hosts -

XC trails arent really what Saalbach does best, its DH really, though the Milka Line from Kohlmais and the Blue Line from Reiterkogel are pretty straightforward and heaps of fun!
