I loved that. Anybody know if there's a reason they don't show much descent footage other than it may be dull? I think I could handle a couple of minutes riding with Sagan. On one of those technical descents, I mean.
On a related note there's Inner Ring on telemetry sticks:I’ve seen the plans for the future and we should get much richer content. For example imagine a sprint being replayed on screen in graphical format where only the top riders are displayed, you can see their relative positions and where and how they make up ground. This is set to become reality. Both the Tour and broadcasters France Télévisions know they’ve taken the France-seen-from-above or Chateauvision as far as they can and they want to use tech to bring in a newer, younger audience....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -

Who would be riding with Sagan on the descent in anger?
If he's in the break (not unlikely, in this Tour), why would he be pushing it on the descent (keep time on the bunch, push his break comrades...?)? And for whatever reason that might be, how do you get it right with the rider who you put the camera on who'll be able to match him (and get the shots)?
A good start point might be to ask Sagan who he rates as a descender. Andrey Amador might be one answer he gives (can't find the footage I saw of him descending where he was sliding the back end out whilst in an over-the-handlebar-tuck): now there's a geezer who has already stared Death in the face....http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/movistars-amador-in-hospital-after-mugging/0 -
