Any opinions on Bianchi Intenso 105 for a beginner. I tried it and really enjoyed the feel and speed, compared to other road bikes in its price range.

If you like it buy it, you'd be hard pressed to find a crap bike at the price.

Bianchi's tend to have lower spec componentry on them compared to other choices in the price bracket as they put the £ into the frame. So comparing with say a Canyon its never going to fare well.

They are good on their frame warranty too.

You are very fortunate to be starting on such a bike.

105 in its current format is very slick, I have it on my cyclocross bike and it's easily comparable to the last 10 speed version of Ultegra

A good fitting and you will have a bike to see you through many seasons.

Vslowpace hits the nail on the head though, if you like it go for it. You can chase deals and compare specs till the cows come home but a bike that hits the mark for your personal taste is most important.

Having said that I am completely Bianchi biased.
