Route into London from the North

Planning on riding Manchester to London in one day. Just need a bit of advice to get from Luton-ish to Piccadilly Circus. Quiet but quick is the plan.....

    Not sure anything is quiet from Luton to London but for quick I would go via the B653 Lower Luton Road to Wheathampstead and Hatfield and then down the A1000 via Potters Bar and Barnet before turning right down Bishops Avenue just after East Finchley Station, turn right when you get to the B519 and left when you hit the A502. From there it is downhill via the B511 and Avenue Road till you hit Regents park, then down Portland Place and Regent Street till you hit Piccadilly Circus.
