Hi. I have a Carrera Vulcan 2015 model which currently has SRSuntour XCM forks which I am pretty certain are non tapered 1 1/8 steerer can I use forks with a tapered steerers on this bike.

Maybe ;-). The 2015 has a semi intergrated, internal, zerostack (whatever you want to call it) headset - so a new external '1.5' bottom cup will allow a tapered steerer.

this, although it will raise the front end up about 10mm but not a huge deal if youa re sticking with the same travel fork.

Thanks supersonic. I have found some cane creek conversion cups but am a bit unsure as to which one i need is it the zero stack 1 1/8 to 1.5 conversion or the 1.5 to 1/18 conversion
