Creaking under load

So this may well be normal but wanted some advise. When I'm standing up giving it some, I seem to get a rotary creaking/clicking noise coming from the wheels, I think around the disk area. If I'm sitting and peddling it seems fine, and just spinning the wheels everything is fine. The front brake doesn't bind at all, the rear does a little but not too bad at all.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Check QR skewers tight, bit of lube on the skewer, align brakes, check pads, check disc rotor bolts (although unlikely), check wheel bearings. Is it both wheels or just one?Framebuilder

Seems to be both. I did just read that it could be that the skewers are too tight? I do tend to do them up to within an inch of their life, so I'll try that.
I have no idea about disk breaks, any pointers on how to adjust/align them? Thanks.Daddy, Husband, Designer, Biker, Gamer, Geek

Noise seems to have gone. Have loosened them slightly. Bike has also been services be the front when replaced as it wasn't true. Spokes seemed strange and they just swapped it over. So not exactly sure what solved it but it has gone.Daddy, Husband, Designer, Biker, Gamer, Geek
