New Bike - need advice :)

Hello guys
I already looked around for some topics on these bikes and there are a few but not that much, because they are very new bikes.
So maybe some of you can give me good advice on these options.
I am looking for a few weeks now and I am on the point, that probably a good Aluminium frame is better than a cheep Carbon frame, especially because I read that the new Emonda ALR series are pretty good.
So my two options are:
- Trek Emonda ALR 5
and
- BMC ALR01 Ultegra
One thing that I have to mention is, that the Trek is one of my LBS and the BMC is from a Private Bike Seller which works together with some bike shops. He would fit the bike to my body and everything.
So thanks for any advices, opinions and all the answers.

Thats true my friend.. watch out.. winter is coming!
I have another option with a Canyon. It's a Canyon Endurace CF 9.0 for 1470.- CHF which is nearly the same as 1470.- USD. But it is not a new one. (used about 2000 km)
I really thought about that one ^^
You think that would be a good deal for that price with 2000 km on his shoulder?
Thanks for your answer and.. valar morghulis0 -

It sounds like a good deal. As long as the bike as been well looked after and there is no visible damage to frame , then there shouldn't be any problems. but i would always advise to buy new, especially with a carbon frame. What is your maximum budget?0 -

Yes actually I would like to buy new.. also because it is my first road bike.
My Budget is around 1500.- CHF (without the stuff that I have to buy as well like shoes, clothes etc.)
so 1500.- just for the bike. Maybe I would go 1700 if it would be a big difference.

Hej Dean
Thanks for your suggestions, just thought maybe you are interested which bike I got. I was on holiday for a few days and today I went to some bike shops and finally made a decision for a Trek Emonda S 5. Got pretty good price on that and I really liked the ride on it.

Ive read all the books twice over. Getting really impatient waiting for the new book :x
My first and only road bike so far is a cannondale caad 8(2012)
Just recently put an order down for the Focus Izalco Max(5.0) Gotta go down to london in 3 weeks and collect it. Got 600 pound off the 2999 price tag plus they giving me a free retul bike fit which normally would cost £250. Cant wait to get it0 -
