Hi,
My cube agree came with Mavic aksion 25c's however after only 1 month I hit a rock at 40MPH and it slit the side wall .
Now this is the only road tyre I have ever tried so I don't really have anyopinion of them however it doesn't stop me wondering if there is anything better out there!
Hopefully this is where you guys can help me out! Do I replace both tyres with something better or just get another?
Thanks
Christian

Try and avoid hitting rocks at speed.
Easier said than done and ripping a side wall is one of those things that sometimes you just have to accept happens.
If it is a small slit, it might be able to be booted and used on the rear wheel (don't put booted tyres on the front wheel!).
If bigger than say half an inch, then bin the tyre and replace it I am afraid.0 -
The usually recommendations on this forum are Continental Grand Prix 4000S II, Continental Grand Prix 4 Season, Michelin Pro4 SC, Michelin Pro4 Endurance, there are others though.
