Hi, I,ve just got a Norco Fluid 7.2 as my 1st Full Sus bike, but want to upgrade the Groupset. My old
Cube LTD SL had a Shimano SLX Groupset on it and it just felt mush better. So i was thinking of upgrading to Shimano XT M782 10 Speed Triple Groupset . but before i do wounding if there is a Sarm Groupset i could look into as well.

Thanks

Links help, but according to Evans it has SLX shifters, XT rear mech and Deore front.

    Maybe different bikes feel different.

If you are used to Shimano, you may find you don't like the action of Sram - the triggers feel and work differently. I use XT and think it works well but a mush or bad feeling action from an existing SLX/XT set up (if CD is right and that is what you have) could be down to some issue with your existing set up (cable routing, bent or sloppy mech, worn chain etc etc).

If it's a case you want a nice upgrade then XT should do it. But if the bike isn't that old and nothing is worn out I would look at changing the cables and outers to see if the action improves to start out with.

SRAM wise I wouldn't bother with anything less than X9 and even then I personally don't like it vs XT but its what I am used to.

Just upgrading the shifters makes a huge difference. To be honest, other than shifters there's very little performance difference between groupsets (Deore - xt) The biggest difference is weight.
I always prefer a mix of groupsets. Deore steel chainrings last forever, slx mechs are indestructible, XTR bottom brackets last year's and SLX cranks are near enough the same weight as XT but cheaper. Always use XT or XTR shifters for a nice slick shift.
