Sealed cartridge bearing BB in Carbon Frame

Any reasons why this is not a good idea? Have some Stronglight 165cm cranks that I want to setup 1x10 for Cyclocross. Any reasons why an older style BB won't work in carbon frame?

    give spa cycles a call, they stock stronglight and recommend sealed b.b's with some of there chainsets.

    Depends all on the frame and BB standard.....
    IF BSA, no problems, otherwise you need adapters.
