Hey,
In my country it is mandatory to use either amber colored prisms on the spokes or tires with reflective strips.
I really hate the idea of prisms so I would like to buy "reflex" tires but I only seem to find them among 25mm or wider tires. (for example Continental Grand Prix 4000 S II is made with reflective strips but only the 25C and 28C, not the 20 or 23C)
Do you know about 23mm "reflex" tires ?

Basically "no". 23mm is a "racing" tyre. Only larger heavier "commuting" tyres will have reflective sidewalls. I compromise and use reflective tubes over the spokes, but that my not be legal where you are.0

I am new to road bikes, do you think 25mm tires are good for training ?0 -

Yes, much more comfortable (less air pressure required) and roll just as well, nicer shape for leaning the bike over into corners etc. Lots of positives.
Rather than worry about the tyres, why not just get some reflective tape and put a couple of lengths on the wheel rims?Trail fun - Transition Bandit

I am not sure they would accept that, our dear police is really finicky with rules.0 -
Have a look for some Continental Grand Prix 4000S II Road Tyre's they need to be the Reflex version which has a reflective strip on the sidewall. 25c ane above only I'm afraid.0

Not sure how reflective tape on the rim would work if you have rim brakes ?
I've stopped using 23mm now if I can. 25mm roll better and ride nicer. Even the pros are sizing up.
Skinny tyres are so 80's.
Where do you live with these rules ?0 -

I'm sure he didn't mean stick it on the brake track!0
