Hand Pain/Handlebars/Brakes

Hi

I have a Bianchi Road bike and recently I have noticed that my hands are getting sore when breaking (downhill and over a lengthy ride)

I have small hands and have to stretch to reach the brake levers.

Is it new handlebars that I need that will be closer to the brake levers and if so what is it I should look out for?

    Depending on the brakes you can get inserts to adjust the reach or they have reach adjustment built in check the manufacturers website.
