Tried joining over a year ago and got a snotty reply back saying I did not meet there requirements asked for explanation, 6 months on still no reply :?0 -

Big thanks for your help, now made contact with the Bedale group/club and been welcomed with open arms with regular Tuesday rides.

Richmond CC seem like a good bunch - organise a great event every May (5 Dales Sportive) as well.
Sad to hear that about Hambleton Wheelers - as a Northallerton native in exile I had it in the back of my mind to try and ride with them if I was back visiting - guess I won't bother trying now! Not really sure what they've got to be so snooty about....0
