Combination Lock - secure?

I need to buy a decent combination lock to secure the bikes to the bike rack. I'm forever losing keys, so would rather not go for a key lock. I need either D lock or padlock style as I have a long security cable and a heavy duty chain.

I noticed combinations locks are rather lacking in security ratings - are they basically easy to pick or something?

I was thinking of this:

anyone got any recommendations?

Combination locks are generally easy to get past if you know what you're doing. The cheap cable/combination type take seconds to crack. The more expensive padlock type are more secure but any decent thief will know how to crack one quickly.
I have motorcycle chains and padlocks but still don't like leaving the bike on the rack for any length of time.

Its for the motorhome and we are using camping car Aires this year over campsites, so I was kind of after something that would be a degree of hassle to remove.

Am I better off with keys are they THAT pathetic? At the end of the day the rack is aluminum and there are limited secure places on the Van body to secure a cable to.

probably not that much worse, sounds fine for that useage.

I have managed to open a few combination padlocks in about 5 mins of messing, so they are fairly easy to open imo.
Put the bikes in the camper and sleep in a tent.
My winter bike is exactly the same as my summer bike,,, but dirty...

Clearly the OP needs to reassess their priorities
