150-155mm wide, flat and medium padded saddled ?

I simply cannot use a saddle which rises at the back and sitbone width 140mm means a wider saddle will be mode comfy for the long rides I do. Sometimes the padding is like sitting on a marshmallow and sometimes like sitting on a brick. Ive tried a spesh toupe 155 which was awful with that dip in the centre and rise at the back, a borrowed b17 was shockingly terribly with sliding all over the place and there just appears to be so little that will suit. The san marco regal looks nice and is a flat 150mm wide but so many stories about it being savagely hard on the @rse. Has anyone any suggestions for a saddle i should check out ?

Maybe a Brooks c170

One possibility to consider is the SQLab 611

It gives you a flat seating platform with the nose dipped slightly lower. The padding is medium hard.
I have a nearly new example in a size 14 which has an overall width of 155mm at its widest point.
PM me if you are interested and I can send you more details0 -
San Marco saddles are pretty slippery in general, IMO. If that was an issue with the Brooks it may well be again.0

if sitbones are 142mm apart would you go for size 14 or 15 ?
i ride with pelvis rolled forward so does this suit this or is it better suited to more upright position ?0 -

the brooks was a nightmare to be honest with @rse literally polishing the seat, didnt get the whole brooks thing at all0 -
Sounds to me like you need to be looking at the fabric scope rangeRule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.0 -

The size 14, I think refers to the 140mm spacing to suit sit bones at and around that size. Obviously the overall saddle width is greater at 155mm as I mentioned. As I understand it, the saddle is designed with the rear platform being slightly raised when compared to the nose.

The rationale I believe is that this leads to less pressure on the perineum area when the pelvis is rolled forward - hence reduced likelihood of numbness and discomfort on longer rides0 -
What about that old favourite, the San Marco Rolls?0

Fizik Antares?0
