The boy is at home now for 6 weeks so I expect our shopping bill to tripple as he tries to eat his own bodyweight daily.
Unusually, we're off to the pub for dinner tonight so all is not lost and tomorrow looks dry so I thinkg a pre work jaunt around the hills is in order.

Saw the weather, realised the school holidays had started which made the decision to drive in much easier.
More importantly it's Friday tomorrow for me then off on my holidays. Or should I say holibob? ;-)0 -

Flying to San Francisco for a few days, then Yosemite and on down the coast to San Diego over the following couple of weeks.

I may have mentioned it before:
California, courtesy of my middle finger. Flying in to San Francisco for 4 nights, then pick up a car and go to Yosemite, Monterey, Santa Barbara, LA and San Diego. I have to go into work in Santa Barbara but that's not a great hardship as it gets me out of going to 6 flags.
Not a holiday I can afford to repeat unless I get knocked off again, I'd cross my fingers to avoid that if I could.

Hit the upper meadows at Yose mate (tuolumne meadows). One of my favourite views was waking up at cathedral lakes as I walked from the valley up there.

Thought you'd appreciate the use of that word, completely agree with you on that. I considered amending the title, but I think taking out words like that may be an abuse of moderator's rights.

We went for a guided tour of the Freixenet factory today and came away with a fair bit of fizzy plonk, both in bottles and in me
In fact there is so much booze there I hesitate to reveal the exact location in case Mr. h makes a beeline for the place and is never seen again :P 7 diferrent subterranean levels like something out of a Bond film which needed one of those amusement park mini train things to get around and over 100m litre storage capacity :shock:

I am puzzled as to why you haven't attempted a cycling holiday taking in all the 118 Whisky distillery's in Scotland on the way.

First day of the jogle we stopped after 99.5 miles at a distillery, a few later we got on the bikes and got to Loch Ness - happy times0 -
