Absolute waste of money. Buy a nice aero jersey instead, as it will make much more of a difference. Heck, having a poo before a ride will make much more of a difference.

    Ceramic bearings = snake oil
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I have a pair of Campag Shamal ultra wheels with ceramic bearings. They seem to me to be very smooth and roll nicely compared to folk that ride alongside me with non ceramic bearings. Campagnolo's top end wheels as used by the Pros (Boras) use ceramic bearings - surely they wouldn't use a wheel that was not efficient for the sake of a gimmick?

marginal gains - yes slightly better but for the average joe a decent pair of tyres would make more difference for the money
