£600 to spend help me pick a bike?

Does it have to be capped at £600? This is decent for not much more.

Unfortunately not as good as you can get for less elsewhere.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Does not have to be bang on £600 but there abouts, it's a nice bike that thanks.
What makes a bike 'good'0 -
For £600, a hardtail should have an adjustable and damped fork - preferably air. I also like to see a basic Shimano 10 speed groupset, or top end 9 speed - and Shimano brakes. Fit is important, but that is personal.0
