The rugrats have got a show on today so they're got two performances to do and expect parental support throughout
So the wife is doing the early shift and I'm cycling over to a mates near the Wrekin and then trying out a orange five - should be good
The rest of the day will involve running around after kids or working, as if I'm stuck inside for the day I might as well catch up

Just took Thing 1 and Thing 2 for a 3 mile walk. 1.5 miles of it uphill at 15-20% thinking all the while that this would be a hell of a ride on a CX bike, in a bid to knacker them out so that they will sleep when it's bedtime. Right now, they are very peaceful and not scrapping whilst I have another latte. Happy day. Missed the impending weather - early bird and all that.

A proper "bloke" day for me today, 40odd mile ride this morning followed by building a subframe for the decking in the back garden (impact drivers are a DIY must...) and then took the boy fishing on one of the local lakes.
For the carbon freaks, I've just got an 11ft middy pellet waggler rod and put it through its paces with about 40lbs of carp.

@ HD - you are a barbarian. You have low standards and should be shot. Fishing for Carp?? FFS, fly fishing on a floating line should be the only form of fishing. Sticking your dodgy rod in a muddy puddle luring the fat lazy victims with the sharp little teeth using curry balls, maggots and god knows what else is not 'fishing'. Well I sort of agree but as I got banned from Pennine for using bread, pellets seemed the next best thing.
