Cotic Escapade

Hi guys, dont post much these days but I wanted to share something positive as everything seems to be doom and gloom at the moment.
I purchased myself an Escapade from Cotic a week or two ago, after quite frankly a long, long period of deep contemplation and spousal persausion. I have racked up a couple of hundred miles since its arrival and the bike has been as brilliant as the web site and marketing blurb promises. It is all things to all men in that I have cruised my road routes, deviated down some farm roads and even nipped through a bit of light singtrack. It isnt a road bike and certainly not a trail smasher but does each of the tasks adequately as long as you use a bit of common sense.
I went for the hot yellow with the hope wheels and components only adding my B17 team saddle for instant comfort. Instantly I found myself at home and feeling like the bike is an old friend, something I have struggled to find since my Falcon Rapier back in my teenage days! (wow, we clocked some miles and got in some scrapes, thats another story or a hundred lol).
The guys at Cotic were absolutely lovely and told me to take my time to make sure I was getting the bike for my exact requirements and aspirations, nothing seems to much trouble for them.
Oh and just to clarify that I have no affiliation with Cotic apart from a love for my recently aquirred machine.
Sorry for the ramble but just wanted to let you guys and girls know that the guys at Cotic seem to give at least as much back to cycling as they have got or get out of it as their love for our past time is clear to see and shines through in the usability of my ride and their passion for their business.
Many thanks for reading.
Regards
Pat
