***BREAKING***
INRG tweeting that Vino has asked Nibali to find a new team for 2016
I imagine Nibali will be only too happy to oblige...
Nibali hasn't looked like he wants to be riding for the team and, frankly, the team hasn't looked like they want to ride for him. The interviews during the tour and even over the winter have indicated a gulf in trust between the two.0 -

It's Andre Greipel's birthday!
He says it's nice to go on an easy ride with his mates."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

No chance of a breakaway until the intermediate sprint at 20 kms0

Sporza ticker says Birthday Gorilla has Hansen, Wellens and De Gendt on patrol for this eventuality."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

About 15 riders with a few more chasing catch Meintjes and Westra.
Looks like Bardet, Pinot, Kwiatek are among them.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Haha, Cannondale chasing again after realising the yet again missed out. Stannard now giving them a bollocking.
I stand by what I said a week ago. Worst team ever to have participated in a Tour De France.0 -
Purito also there. About 4 AG2R so maybe one is also Peraud.Contador is the Greatest0

So it would seem Fuglsang lost time on purpose yesterday so he could target today. Astana have properly recalibrated their targets then....0

“This day was a catastrophe. Nibali couldn’t even keep the pace with Fuglsang, which I had expected him to,” a clearly disappointed Alexandre Vinokourov said to Gazzetta dello Sport immediately after the stage. “We gave the green light to Jakob to go ahead in the classification. Vincenzo needs a good mechanic because something is broken in his head.0 -
Sounds like the relationship between Nibali and Astana is broken, time to move on.
Did Konig and Poels have a bad day yesterday, didn't see them on the tourmalet high up or were they being rested a bit for today? They'll be needed as Thomas or Porte will surely have an off day at some point.0 -
I can see Alex Dowsett missing the time cut today. Poor bastard has suffered like a dog this week.Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0

Having personally grovelled up the Portet D'Aspet, it's particularly impressive how a big unit like Stannard cruises up it
On second thoughts, they've not got to the steep bit yet, didn't realise they hadn't gone by the memorial yet...0 -

No worse than Whinlatter Pass, I thought. Better descent off the other side though."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
