I am looking for a super comfort seatpost.
Specialized Cobl Gobl R should be the one but a bit heavy, 250g.
Syntace P6 HiFlex another option, 220g.
Ritchey Flexlogic the lightest, 185g.
Any advice on the above or new ones is welcome?

The Specialized is very comfy
Totally.
Massive difference in comfort and really not worth worrying overly about the weight.
If you see one on Gumtree/eBay etc. with a white tippex marker line - it's mine that got nicked yesterday in Belgravia!0 -
Thanks for the feedback, I will go for the Specialized Cobk Gobl R.
I am building a special fixed bike with top end parts for 1,000k a month commuting .
Comfort is crucial!0 -
I'm intrigued to hear more, what frame have you chosen?
I use Deda Drittissimo seat posts on all my bikes.
On my fixie I'm using Cinelli AVS gel pads and went upto 25c tyres; both really helped with comfort.0 -
Frame: Langster 2014
Fork: Colombus Hiver, full carbon with eyelets
Wheels hand build: Token hubs, Mavic Open pro ceramic rims, Sapim CX-Ray spokes
Tyres: 700*23 Schwalbe Durano plus (rear), Schwalbe Durano (front)
Chainset: Mitche Pro 144 PCD, 49 cogs.
BB: SKS, cartridge, German made with many years guarantee…!
Rear cog: EuroAsianImports, 18 cogs.
Stem: Ritchey wcs, 100g
Handlebars: Zipp carbon (175g)
Front brake: Ultegra
Brake leaver: cane creek
Pedals: shimano XTR or Ritchey micro SDP
Seatpost: Specialized Cobl Gobl R
Saddle: Specialized Toupe, then if seat post proved comfy, Selle San Marco only carbon (85g).
Mudguards (for winter riding): SKS
Handlebars are comfortable, fork is new should be better than the old one with alu steerer, tyres are 23 but actual size about 24 and really puncture-proof, bar tape Lizardskins with extra gel padding.
In general, front end should be optimum, now I want to see how good is going to be the seatpost.0
