B screw rear derailleur question

I was installing a new chain and cassette and thought I'd give the rear mech and jockey wheel a clean. While I was at it I noticed the B screw that adjust the mech and pushes off the hanger didn't look right.
Does this look OK or out of shape ? is the B screw & thread hole meant to clear the mech when pulled down the B screw catches when pulled down and stops the mech from moving freely

Yes the B screw part looks bent, it is not lining up with the step on the hanger and it shouldn't foul the mech !He is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!0
