My cassette doesn't fit!
So: bought some bargain Campag-compatable DT Swiss wheels from Rose. Advertised as 9/10/11 speed compatable.
Took Veloce 10 speed cassette off my Miche wheels, seemed too big for new cassette - smallest sprocket seemed to be 'hanging in the air' and not touching the freehub body :?: :?: :?: :shock:
"Must need clamping down", thinks I, tightens up and as it seems to work off I go.
2 months later, in the middle of the Wiggle Magnificat (rainy), wheel seizes. Lockring come loose. Mechanic called, comes out, says cassette is 'too big' for freehub :shock: :? so I should return the wheels.
So I've written to Rose.
Now - is it me who's an idiot or is there something wrong????
