Look Keo BLade 2

Recently bought some Look Keo Blade 2 pedals, the non carbon versions, but the 12nm spring feels too light for me, so ideally would like to change them for something with more resistance.

Looking on eBay its possible to buy the carbon blades separately, anyone know if they're a straight swap?

I think they are a straight swap but you need a specific Look tool to change them which costs as much as a new set of pedals. I don't know of any shops local to me that have the required tool. I would advise you against the 20nm blade too, it's almost impossible to get your foot out of. Try 16nm first then go to 20 if you're really struggling. Most pro racers use 16nm unless it's on a TT bike.

I have the 16nm, and at 85kg I find the right cleat impossible to release, to the point where it becomes dangerous to use.I replaced them with Shimano Dura Ace...shame as they are a very nice pedal.

Its not a Look tool. I think it is a torx screw, I had the screwdriver with my computer tools!
Very simple to swap over, come as a pair , C Cat you could have had a 12 for your right foot and a 16 for your left.

So why do Look sell a specific tool for changing the blades?? Certainly changing the blades in the Blade 2 you have to use the tool else it's almost impossible to refit the blade.

No idea. I found it no problem and very easy with the correct screwdriver

I have just had to replace my Spring/Blade. You need a Torx 10 on one side and a Torx 8 on the other.

Torx bits both sides, I had the 20 s in mine which were a pig to get released from. The blades are easy enough to replace with the correct tool.
