Is there a trick to this? Everything I've read says "just pull it off", however I've spent the last hour sweating and grunting and it hasn't moved a bit! I've tried with a cassette on and some janky trick with 2 pence pieces under the lockring I found on you tube!
Any advice?

Grab the hub end with a pair of pliers and pull it (using the round bit in the middle that pliers have to avoid damaging the alloy) once that is off, simply pull the freehub off

I've already removed the end caps. It's just that I can't get the free hub body to shift!"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

So it should just pull off by hand? any non destructive tips?"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

If you have a bench vice, just clamp it and pull the wheel off it, you have more leverage that wayleft the forum March 20230
