Read plenty of reviews on these wheels, and am now getting close to pulling the plug but just interested to hear the opinions from the people that matter.
I'll be upgrading from Campagnolo Khamsin's (stock wheels), so wondering what your initial thoughts were when you upgraded and what you upgraded from, and was the difference noticeable?
The reason i'm looking for a better wheels is because i'm starting to ride in faster paced groups, and I always intended to upgrade wheels first.

I have the 2015 version and they are an improvement on the stock Bontrager Race wheels on my 2013 Madone. I live in the Peak District and have noticed the difference on climbs.
Caveat... they are good value if you can get them for around £300. At full price (£450ish) I'd get handbuilts.0 -

Yeah ditch them.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
My mate has them on his Synapse Hi Mod, what surprises me is that they rub on the brakes every time he's out of the saddle. I thought they'd be stiffer than that and he's only 70kg so hardly a power monster.0

Ditch the Mavic's or my current stock wheels?NorvernRob wrote:My mate has them on his Synapse Hi Mod, what surprises me is that they rub on the brakes every time he's out of the saddle. I thought they'd be stiffer than that and he's only 70kg so hardly a power monster.
Ohh... that's not good, I was under the impression they were a fairly stiff wheel. :?0 -

Me too, hence the surprise. I can't see there being much frame flex on a top quality frame either?0 -
I had a pair and couldn't get on with them as they were too stiff and I found I could feel every lump and bump on the road. Probably depends on your frame as I had an alloy frame/carbon fork at the time so if you have a carbon frame you will probably be okay. Wheels stayed true when I had them and felt good for hill climbing.0

In March, I bought some for £399 from Westbrook on a 2015 close out as the 2016 were looming large, unbeknownst to me. However, I have to say they are truly excellent wheels at a great price. Very fast, stiff and they look smoking hot on the bike as love the two tone look of the rim. I am a solid bike rider, average 13.5 15 stone dependant on form and stiff enough for a mere recreational rider like me.
Cannot fault them and being frank, if I could turn back the clock I would not have spent the thousands I did on wheels including Zipp, Fast Forward, Shimano and co had I thought about these first. Simply brilliant great value wheels which at £400 were clearly not bought for life as not a hand built buyer, which I am happy about.
The new 2016 wheels have the anecdotal wider rim etc, but I do prefer the look of the older wheels, which I went for.0 -
Great wheels. They are stiff (read the reviews). Go for it.0

I've enjoyed mine and thought they were bulletproof up until I discovered a failure today and posted my thread here...
