Hi guys,
I know you're asked this all the time and it's probably really frustrating but.... I'm looking for advice and don't know where to start and I don't know anyone who's into mountain biking!
So I'm looking for a hard tail MTB for riding small trails, cross country and canal paths
I'm 6ft 1 and about 90kg
My price range is around £200 (BUT and it's a biggy, with my health care scheme I get 50% off at evans effectively making me able to spend upto 400)

Feel free to recommend others or advise which is best
Look forward to everything you guys have to give and if I haven't provided enough info just let me know what you need
Thanks
Dean

Or

Better brakes and 9 speed.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Pinnacle is out of stock in my size and not really sure I like the 29 inch wheels, sat on the trek marlin 7 and just didn't seem right!
If I could double my budget (for for another month or 2) I see a lot about the rock rider 560 (£400) from decathlon any ideas how these compare?

Wondering about the 26 v 27.5 as well?0 -
Well you'd better choose and 27.5 (650b) or 29er as 26 is slowly on its way outIt matters not, win or lose, it's how you ride the bike0

The Rockrider at that price is an absolute bargain. Way better than most other sub £600 bikes.0
