Hi.

Any thoughts on the pros and cons of these?

Also, if a P*ncture does happen, can they be fixed with normal patches and glue?

Cheers

Andy

expensive and doesn't say how long the sealant stays liquid (it won't be forever, you'd then need to refill)

if you really want to use sealant in the hope of avoiding punctures, you'd be better off putting sealant in your standard inner tubes, it will work exactly the same

but bear in mind if there's a puncture that while a small hole will probably seal on the go, in the process the tyre may lose a fair bit of pressure, you'd then need to stop and inflate - as the pressure goes up the sealant may blow out (immediately or after a delay)

above a certain size a puncture will not seal, then sealant may be squirted over you/bike before pressure drops

for road clinchers i'd just stick to normal tubes and a rema tiptop repair kit

    Thanks for the reply.

I'll stick with normal inner tubes and a repair kit if necessary.

    Cheers
