Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a free hub i could use to convert my ritchey wcs zeta 1 from 10 to 11 speed? And could i remove the 13th cog from a 11-28 11 speed ultegra cassette for now? Will this damage my derailleur? My entire group is 11 speed with the expectation of the wheelset

You need to check with Ritchey regarding freehub spares availability:

UK distributor is Paligap who are pretty useless TBH - you need to order through your LBS
If they don't do Shimano 11 freehub a Campagnolo freehub and 11 cassette will also work
You can't convert a 11-speed cassette to 10 speed by simply removing a sprocket - spacing will be wrong.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Yes that will work fine with your 11 speed group set but I'd remove the 16t instead, less of a jump at the gap. Adjust the rear derailleur stops to prevent the shifter trying to get the missing 11th gear.

Well, that's cleared that up then.

(I'm with Monty Dog - the spacing is different so removing a cog won't work).
I'm left handed, if that matters.

You're not reading his post properly. He has an 11 speed groupset and an 11 speed cassette.

Removing 1 cog from the cassette to fit onto the 10 speed freehub should work fine.

There will be an empty click on the shifter.

Its not advised to do it with Di2 as the makeshift stop may damage the motor.

    This might help

i just used an 10sp cassette/wheel whilst i waited for a new 11sp freehub, once the stops are set, it works fine as the narrower 11sp chain compensates for the slight difference in cog spacing, i was surprised how well it changes tbh.

Just removing a cog won't do it though - you need to find a spacer to take up the slack so the cassette is tightened by the lockring.
