Lube

Guys and Girls need some advice on lube. As we should always take some time to properly lube up before undertaking any rigorous riding
Has anybody used marine lube on headsets or bottom brackets as it looks pretty much similar to Bike specific grease but carries at least 1/3 less in cost and if you have what have you used?
I have been looking at this stuff:
Yamalube Water Resistant Lical Grease

The doctor said I needed to start drinking more whiskey. Also, I’m calling myself ‘the doctor’ now

Link would help!
Sealed BB's just need a light grease on the thread, apart from lithium snot anything will do, for loose ball headsets (or wheelbearings or BB's) I use Castrol waterproof (aka 'red rubber') grease, it's designed for use in boat trailer wheelbearings which are frequently submerged under water.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

the stuff you mentioned sounds similar to the Yamalube.
Im against using the the white snot as it just gets sticky and nasty and seems to attract dirt like nobodies business plus gets a bit sticky after while and doest seem to be as smoothThe doctor said I needed to start drinking more whiskey. Also, I’m calling myself ‘the doctor’ now0 -
