Freehub slipping on my 5700 105 hubs

Anyone here fixed this by doing a freehub service?

Or should I buy a new hub body if so which one is compatible / cheap?

If it is shimano hub don't bother trying to do anything just change it. Yes buying a suitable hub gives you all of the service parts you need. Tiagra might not be suitable. Shimano tech docs list compatibility. But I would get the same hub as you have now then you know the balls and vines are the correct size length etc and that the free hub fits correctly.

I'd disagree about tossing the cassette hub and buying new. No sense in wasting a perfectly good part. It may just needs a cleaning and lube. The park website is a good tutorial on how to remove the Shimano o-ring and clean and lube. You can also clean it by submerging in white spirit or paraffin for a few hours then use an air gun to blow out the grit and dry it. Most grease is a little too thick for Shimano free hubs so you can mix grease with motor oil until it's just thin enough to not run then just pack it in the bearings under the o-ring. There are a few specialty greases you can buy for this but are way overpriced IMO and are no better than the motor oil and grease mix. Lube that's too thick will cause the pawls to stick and not engage, too thin and it seeps out of the freehub.
