hi guys,

I got a slayer 50, 2011 model which needs bearings replace.
my mechanic said there are 4 "regular" bearings and 2 "special" ones.
I think about doing it myself and would like to have some info:

1. what are those bearings and how are they called? (want to search online store to order).
2. know any sites which provide the 2 types?
3. I heard there is a special tool to extract and get back the bearings. how is it called and is it possible to order one from the internet? i have been told it is only bike mechanics tools.

if you do have videos or articles that show the process of replacing i would love to have.

thanks very much :)

Presumably you have looked on the manufacturers website and used Google?

  • indeed. also youtube. and mailed some of the few online stores who sell them. if I was wrong with the rocky mountain website search, and there is a detailed article or some kind of that info, I would love to know how is called. because I really did try to search and nothing came up.

    thanks.
