Hi all.
Hope someone can help me, today I bought myself a mountain bike, (I use to be a keen mountain biker quite sometime ago)
I noticed the rotars / big gear cogs were exposed and nothing was stopping your clothes getting caught and tearing them etc, does anyone know were I maybe able to get one of the following (highlighted in red).
I don't know what the name of it is, as every bike I have had, has have one of these.
Thanks.

Its called a trouser guard, both Shimano and Truvativ make them, if the big chainring has 4 small holes in it and is by one of those two, you can fit a guard, note the 2 have different mountings so you have to get the right one for the chainring you have.
Not needed for proper mountain biking!
P.s. Its the brake discs normally referred to as a rotor.

You only need one of those if you plan to wear flappy trousers, a floor length skirt or loose shoe laces. You shouldn't have anything that can get caught in the chain - it can get caught in other places as well, unprotected by the plastic disk.Specialized Roubaix Elite 2015
