Advice about my Huffy Chesapeake?!

Hi all -
my brother found and gave me a Huffy Chesapeake Fitness Series bike and I'm trying to find more info about it! Is this a street bike? Would it be cool on trails? I'd like to use it off road but i'm new to this cycling thing so I don't want to push myself on a bike that isn't built for certain terrain! Thanks!

A photo would help. There have been different versions of the Chesapeake over the years. I'm no expert on this bike but newer models, I think, are more Mtn. bike style. Huffy is a bottom of the barrel cheap bike brand found in American, non-bike shop, Mega discount stores. They work but not exactly high performance or durable. If you plan on doing some serious off-road riding bring your smart phone in case you need a ride back when it breaks.0
